TRAVEL TO PLACES: SINGAPORE- FORT CANNING PARK

My Personal Experience: I went to Fort Canning Park last year August 8, 2015, together with my sister. We went there to explore as part of National Museum Tour were we enjoy outdoors. Fort Canning Park is like jungle in the city where you can be nature and nurture your wild side while feeling the breeze of the wind coming through the trees in the garden.

Fort Canning Park
A surprising green space in the heart of Singapore, Fort Canning Park is one of the city’s most significant historical landmarks. Here it is possible to escape the busy city for an afternoon with plenty of walking trails and unusual plants. It is also home to Battle Box, an interesting underground tunnel complex from the Second World War. Situated behind the Singapore History Museum at Stamford Road you can get their park via several accesses.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: BEN-HUR

Director: Timur Bekmambetov
Cast: Jack Huston , Toby Kebbell , Morgan Freeman , Rodrigo Santoro , Nazanin Boniadi, Ayelet Zurer , Haluk Bilginer , Marwan Kenzari , Sofia Black , Pilou Asbaek , Moises Arias
Plot: This remake of the 1959 Academy Award winning historical epic film follows a wrongly accused nobleman, Judah Ben-Hur, whom after surviving years of slavery is determined to exact revenge upon his former best friend, Messala, who had betrayed him.

My Movie Review: The movie is lost in translation trying to give grand history but falls flat. The chariot race is the highlight of the film and that's the only thing that make it watchable. Ben-Hur is retelling of story that has a big shoe to fill in that still delivers but not enough to match its predecessor. Unexpected to see story of Jesus makes it compelling on the last parts for what is worth I bring home lessons like no matter life will took you just keep living.
My Favorite Lines: "Look for them in the Valley of the Lepers, if you can recognize them. The race goes on, Judah!" "What is your name, forty-one? Judah Ben Hur." "And I felt his voice take the sword out of my hand." "This is the day Judah. It's between us now." "You should have stayed away. You should have killed me." "Your eyes are full of hate, forty-one. That's good. Hate keeps a man alive. It gives him strength." "Now listen to me, all of you. You are all condemned men. We keep you alive to serve this ship. Row well and live."

Plot: Based on the Roald Dahl book of the same name, young orphan Sophie encounters a giant, the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) and the both of them go on an adventure to stop other evil giants from roaming in the human world.

My Movie Review: The movie is all a dream seeing things in different thinking it broaden your imagination. What if it is real that when we sleep someone will formulate our dreams that one will decide the mood I think it's going to be crazy. Enchanting world awaits once it starts where makes you wonder then visit to the queen takes a flip and somehow brings to reality as fancy it could be mixing unfamiliar situation. It is not a must-see but keeps you curious on how giants rule their land and a child adventure will have knowing there's BFG.
My Favorite Character: The BFG (Big Friendly Giant)

The BFG is a 24-foot tall giant. The BFG spends his time collecting dreams and storing them in his home, before giving the good ones to children around the world. Unlike the other giants, the BFG does not eat humans, demonstrating immense compassion. Instead, he subsists by eating snozzcumbers which are so disgusting. The BFG has extraordinary hearing and very fast runner while his rather simple still intelligent as well as kind-hearted.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: THE SHALLOWS

Director: Jaume Collet-Serra
Cast: Blake Lively , Oscar Jaenada , Sedona Legge , Brett Cullen , Diego Espejel
Plot: While surfing on an isolated beach, a young woman dealing with the recent death of her mother suddenly finds herself stranded in the middle of the sea. Alone on a buoy, she has to find a way to return to shore, which means she will have to escape the great white shark circling the waters around her.

My Movie Review: The movie is fresh the scenic view makes me feeling I'm on a vacation. This movie comes in a good time where most of the come out lately where action or superhero type it's so refreshing to see something different. Blake Lively is so superb excellent in every way you can't ask for more her expression and action really believable. The Shallows take me to the nature and gave me a thrill to watch and moments to be fear.
My Favorite Lines: "Learning to be self-reliant takes time and hard work. These are the steps assume responsibility, know where you are going, make your own decisions. Yes, sir, it’s hard work to become self-reliant. Any one of us can use a bit more than we have, if you’re not self-reliant, you’ll never do more than just get by. A little does of self-reliance can do wonders. Now you may think that’s the end of story actually its only the beginning." "What did you say the name this place? Thirty, forty yards. It takes me thirty-two seconds."

National Museum (NMS)
Singapore’s oldest museum is a progressive showcase of the country’s history and culture. Time to visit most place one to learn about the history and culture of Singapore. The National Museum tells you the intriguing story of this country in a manner that is fun. The building itself is a wondrous structure that has seamlessly fused the old with the new enhancing the elegant neo--classical building with modernist extension of glass and metal.

TRAVEL TO MOVIES: SUICIDE SQUAD

Director: David Ayer
Cast: Margot Robbie , Jared Leto , Will Smith , Adam Beach , Viola Davis , Jai Courtney , Cara Delevingne , Jay Hernandez , Scott Eastwood , Karen Fukuhara , Joel Kinnaman , Ben Affleck ,  Alex Meraz , Ezra Miller , Ray Olubowale , Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

My Movie Review: The movie is exceptional in creating tensions and builds up really fast. It was a great introductory to the characters since most were not seen before in cinematic universe. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn is the heart of the squad each scene pops with Jared Leto as The Joker their perfect combination the intensity is higher psychopath rules. Suicide Squad have lots of potential and refreshing take in breaking the boundaries owns the idea of what a villain can be and turn into worth rooting but the story takes wrong turn.
My Favorite Character: Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn (Harleen Frances Quinzel) is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of the superhero Batman. Harley Quinn is the Joker's frequent accomplice and lover, whom she met while working as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, where the Joker was a patient. Harley Quinn is usually depicted as having a very pronounced New Jersey accent. The character made her live-action cinematic debut in Suicide Squad now portrayed by Actress Margot Robbie.
