TRAVEL TO MOVIES: KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD

Director: Guy Ritchie
Cast: Charlie Hunnam , Jude Law , Astrid Bergés-Frisbey , Eric Bana , Djimon Hounsou , Annabelle Wallis , David Beckham , Aidan Gillen , Millie Brady , Daniel Stisen , Freddie Fox
Plot: Acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie brings his dynamic style to the epic fantasy action adventure “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword”. Starring Charlie Hunnam in the title role, the film is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne. When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.

My Movie Review: The movie is an exhilarating ride truly satisfying with its fast pace style! King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword is a very decent tale with flashy set pieces put together in a thoughtful way. I'm shocked with the negative response it got from the critics saying it is a royal mess because it under performed at the box office that's the only reason I think! It's a Guy Ritchie movie for sure it's high quality for me his brand is synonymous to stylish. Charlie Hunnam is pretty solid as King Arthur and commit to his reluctant but good heated role but Jude Law stands out more as the act king with his black and white fur winter coat!
My Favorite Term: Excalibur (The Legendary Sword)

Excalibur or Caliburn is the legendary sword of King Arthur, sometimes attributed with magical powers or associated with the rightful sovereignty of Great Britain. Sometimes Excalibur and the Sword in the Stone (the proof of Arthur's lineage) are said to be the same weapon, but in most versions they are considered separate. The sword was associated with the Arthurian legend very early. In Welsh, the sword is called Caledfwlch; in Cornish- the sword is called Calesvol; in Breton- Kaledvoulc'h; and in Latin- Caliburnus.
